Komodo, Indonesia
Aug 29 - Sept 3, 2025 - 10 divers
Komodo National Park is one of Indonesia’s premiere heritage sites, which includes 29 islands and many small rocky islets situated at the southwestern corner of the coral triangle. This insular plateau is home to rich marine biodiversity and abundance, as well as the world famous Komodo dragons.
During this week, our group of 10 divers was treated to an exceptional staff to guest ratio of 2.5:1, making for a truly luxurious experience. We spent 2 days in the northern islands exploring vibrant reefs and riding the swift currents of famous sites like Crystal and Castle Rock, and Shotgun. We then moved to the southern end of the archipelago to enjoy manta rays, and unmatched macro-life.
While not diving, we ventured on land for a hike around a Komodo dragon sanctuary on Rinca Island, enjoyed an afternoon at Pink Beach on Komodo Island and climbed to a breathtaking vista at sunrise on Padar Island. We were also treated to a breathtaking show of a nightly Sunda flying fox migration.
