Advanced Open Water Dive Certification Course
The Advanced Open Water Dive certification course builds on the skills you learned in the Open Water Dive certification course, and allows you to expand your knowledge and abilities. The certification course consists of two required modules and three modules of your choosing, meaning you develop the skills most relevant to your passion.
The first required module is Deep Diving, critical to understanding your limits while diving and giving you access to the maximum recreational depth of 130ft (40m)! The second required module is Underwater Navigation, during which you develop the vastly important ability to navigate during your dive depending on both a compass and natural references.
The modules available to choose from vary greatly and should reflect your interests. After all, diving is supposed to be fun! The following are some, but definitely not all, of the options: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diving, Drift Diving, Underwater Photography, Fish ID, Underwater Naturalist, Boat Diving, Wreck Diving, Altitude Diving and many more.
