Roatán, Bay Islands, Honduras
March 31 - April 6 or April 6 - 13, 2019
Recently rated the #1 Caribbean dive destination, Roatán has long been a diver’s paradise, drawing ocean enthusiasts from all over the world. Visitors enjoy first-class diving, amenities and service after a quick flight from multiple US cities direct to the international airport on Roatán. The island itself is rich with history and vibrant with a beautiful mix of cultures. It is quiet, safe, affordable and the perfect dive escape.
With over 40 distinct dive sites within a 2 mile radius, the west end of the island is the perfect location on Roatán to set up base for your dive adventure. Those 40 dive sites include deep coral wall drift dives, expansive sand patches and slopes (your best chance to see eagle rays, sting rays and even the occasional hammerhead shark), winding shallow swim-thrus, large accessible shipwrecks and everything in between.
With long daylight hours, warm, clear waters, and an incredible array of dive sites all remarkably accessible, Roatán is the diver’s dive paradise. Photographers, adventure seekers, conscious conservationists, and beginner divers can all enjoy world-class experiences on the reefs of Roatán.
In addition to SCUBA diving, Roatán offers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities of the deeper variety. Explore the deep ocean as never before, in the world’s deepest publicly available deep sea submersible, Stanley Submarine’s Idabel. Explore parts of the world unseen to human eyes, and experience the ocean in a way which most will never have the opportunity.
Experience the beauty and exhilaration of deep sea fishing with Roatan’s #1 rated charter fleet, Ruthless Roatan Charters. Troll in complete comfort and style for marlin, tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, barracuda and more aboard one of two 42’ Hatteras, with stops at the Bay Islands most remote and beautiful beaches.

Ask Alex about his favorite adventures with descriptions and price points, and he'll help you book what floats your boat.
We aim to promote responsible tourism through all of our trips and supporting the community in which you are vacationing is part of that strategy. Want to help out? Take part in any number of volunteer projects during your stay. These include beach/bay clean ups, Roatán Marine Park service, requests from the local non-profit organization SOL, and others. You can also help by bringing school supplies, sports equipment with you when you travel, or bringing used batteries home with you to dispose of responsibly. You can even adopt your own dive site through the marine park and dive on it during the trip. The Roatán Marine Park also administers lionfish hunting licenses and provides a way for you to directly protect the reef during your adventures. Ask Alex how you can help.
